Joey Lyman started as an absolute stranger to us, then became our realtor and ended up a family friend (and our school aged son’s most favorite person ever). When we met Joey at an open house we knew right away that he did his job with heart and you can’t ever go wrong when someone truly cares. Even when we drove him a little nuts, he reminded us that it’s part of the process of buying and selling and he is not giving up on us, ever. He is genuine, committed, honest, and truly the best fit for this kind of work. Whenever we felt stuck, he had an idea. Whenever we had questions he answered them either right away or as soon as he did the thorough research for us. Joey went the extra mile every single time, throughout the entire process no matter what. His communication skills are a cut above which we were particularly impressed with as it feels like no one communicates with anyone anymore. He injected humor whenever he could, reminded us that he had a plan, backup plan and even a plan after that and he kept us on track. There are people who go to work and go home. Joey is not this person and we tried our absolute best not to take advantage of his willingness to be available but we failed. (In our defense it was not even always work related, sometimes we just wanted to say hi, tell a joke, have Joey in our life in general because he’s just such a good guy or our son wanted to have a playdate or chat with him). At the end of successfully selling our home and buying another, we were actually sad that we wouldn’t be in constant communication with Joey. The downside of someone being stellar at what they do is they are always busy. Dedicated. Focused. (And never available to hang out)! This is the guy you want to go on your real estate journey with. No matter the ups and downs you will be taken care of and you may even make a new friend. This is already such a long review and I could still go on and on about how thankful we are that we crossed paths with Joey. Our families are in other states, I had a high risk pregnancy with my daughter at the time, a school aged son, and an absolutely adorable but crazy golden retriever who tried to make the process even harder but Joey took care of all of us- even the dog. He handled our hardships, emotions, conflicts- everything. He reminded us that it’s all part of this process and that everything will work out and it did. He’s amazing and he’s the one you want on your side. We could not recommend him enough. He is outstanding.
